Liberal Arts When a 35-year-old New York City college admissions counselor (Josh Radnor), who has just broken up with his bitter girlfriend (Kristen Bush), returns to his alma mater to attend the retirement dinner of a favorite professor (Richard Jenkins) in this lightweight, low-key, quirky, romantic comedy, he ends up being attracted to a drama student (Elizabeth Olsen), is oddly befriended by a suicidal student (John Magaro) and a wacky free-spirit (Zac Efron), and surprisingly beds a former professor (Allison Janney) and then happily returns home where he unexpectedly meets a beautiful bibliophile (Elizabeth Reaser).
