Possession, The After a newly divorced basketball coach (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who shares custody of his two daughters (Natasha Calis and Madison Davenport) with his ex-wife (Kyra Sedgwick) who is dating a new beau (Grant Show), buys a mysterious, old box at a yard sale in upstate New York and his 10-year-old, vegetarian daughter begins to act very strange upon opening the wooden box in this predictable, run-of-the-mill, allegedly factually inspired, 90-minute thriller, he desperately seeks the help of a compassionate and knowledgeable Hasidic Jew (Matisyahu) to perform an exorcism when he believes that she is possessed by an evil, child-devouring spirit.
