Secret World of Arrietty, The Gorgeous anime-type animation dominates this colorful, charming, family-oriented, 2010 film, which is based on Mary Norton's 1952 classic The Borrowers, in which a brave, spunky one-inch tall teenager (voiceover by Bridgit Mendler), who lives with her parents (voiceovers by Amy Poehler and Will Arnett) beneath the house of an elderly woman (voiceover by Gracie Poletti) and her mean-spirited servant (voiceover by Carol Burnett), is helped by a sick, lonely boy (David Henrie) when the family's well-decorated home is endangered and their existence itself is threatened.
