Dark Knight Rises, The

After a ruthless, grille-masked, tenacious, excommunicated League of Shadows mercenary (Tom Hardy) ferociously attacks the Stock Exchange with his henchmen (Josh Stewart, Elijah Burke, et al.), learns that Bruce Wayne is Batman (Christian Bale) when a leather-clad jewel thief (Anne Hathaway) sells his fingerprints to an unscrupulous board member (Ben Mendelsohn), and threatens Gotham City with a 4-megaton nuclear bomb in Christopher Nolan's visually striking, fast paced, action-packed, engaging, star-studded (Liam Nesson, Cillian Murphy, Juno Temple, Joey King, Nestor Carbonell, Aidan Gillen, Daniel Sunjata, Brett Cullen, et al.), 164-minute final film in the trilogy, Bruce Wayne seeks the help of a mysterious, wealthy philanthropist (Marion Cotillard) to save his company while the caped crusader is joined by his loyal valet (Michael Caine), his techno-savvy entrepreneurial friend (Morgan Freeman), the police commissioner (Gary Oldman) and the deputy commissioner (Matthew Modine), and a slew of cops (Joseph Gordon-Levitt, et al.) to save Gotham City.
