Narrows, The A gritty, violent, 2008 film, which is based on Tom McLoughlin's novel Heart of the Old Country, in which a photography student (Kevin Zegers), who lives with his disabled, bookie father (Vincent D'Onofrio) in Brooklyn, tries to escape from his ties with mobsters (Eddie Cahill, Titus Welliver, Tony Cucci, Louis Mustillo, et al.) and his clingy fiancée (Monica Keena) with the help of a professor (Roger Rees) and a fellow student (Sophia Bush).
