Sound of My Voice

When an emotionally vulnerable substitute grade school teacher (Christopher Denham) tries to expose and document the shenanigans going on in a highly secretive cult along with his wealthy, skeptical girlfriend (Nicole Vicius) in Los Angles in this quirky, thought-provoking, well-acted, 84-minute, 2011 film that leaves a myriad of questions unanswered, he is surprised that he is drawn into the cult with its other blurry-eyed members (Richard Wharton, Kandice Stroh, Avery Kristen Pohl, Constance Wu, Matthew Carey, et al.) by its mesmerizing, mysterious leader (Brit Marling) who claims to be from the year 2054.
