An engaging, informative, award-winning, 90-minute, 2011 documentary that focuses on six dedicated, talented, disciplined, hardworking young ballet dancers, including 11-year-old Aran Bell living with his parents in Italy, 16-year-old Colombian Joan Sebastian Zamora, 14-year-old adopted Sierra Leone orphan Michaela Deprince, 14-year-old Rebecca Houseknecht living in Maryland, and 12-year-old Miko Fogarty and her 10-year-old brother Jules Jarvis Fogarty living in California, as they train to compete in the annual Youth America Grand Prix in New York City for dancers between the ages of 9 to 19 to win coveted professional employment contracts and scholarships.
