Five-Year Engagement, The

After a smitten San Francisco sous chef (Jason Segel) proposes to his British girlfriend (Emily Blunt) of one year and then gives up his promising career to move to Michigan when his fiancée is accepted as a graduate student in psychology in this down-to-earth, funny, entertaining, romantic comedy, the couple keeps postponing their wedding to the frustration of their parents (Mimi Kennedy, David Paymer, and Jim Piddock), grandparents (Jane Carr, Clement von Franckenstein, Madge Levinson, and Michael Ensign), and friends (Chris Pratt, Alison Brie, et al.).
