Whistleblower, The When a divorced, courageous, tenacious Nebraska policewoman Kathryn Bolkovac (Rachel Weisz) takes a job as a U.N. peacekeeper in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, after her ex-husband (Demetri Goritsas) gains custody of their daughter (Rosabell Laurenti Sellers) and moves to Georgia in 1999 in this gritty, gut-wrenching, factually inspired, well-acted, star-studded (Vanessa Redgrave, Monica Bellucci, David Strathairn, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Luke Treadaway), 2010 political thriller, she endangers herself as she tries to expose the involvement of U.N. officials (Liam Cunningham, William Hope, et al.), members of an international police task force (David Hewlett, et al.), and local police in the psychological, emotional, and physical torture of underage girls (Roxana Condurache, Paula Schramm, et al.) who are sold as slaves in a sex trafficking operation.
