Fathers' Day

A run-of-the-mill, lackluster, sporadically funny, star-studded (Bruce Greenwood, Mel Gibson, Jared Harris, Mary McCormack, Patti D'Arbanville, and Jason Reitman), 1997 comedy in which an eccentric writer (Robin Williams) and an uptight San Francisco lawyer (Billy Crystal), who is happily married to his third wife (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), end up trying to find a reckless, love-struck, 16-year-old student (Charlie Hofheimer), who has runaway with his girlfriend (Haylie Johnson) to Sacramento, after their distraught, desperate former lover (Nastassja Kinski) tells each man that he is the father of the teenager.
