Coriolanus

This well-acted, violent, difficult to follow Ralph Fiennes film, which is based on the lesser-known William Shakespeare tragedy with the dialogue spoken in its original Old English dialect, about a blood-stained, sweat-soaked, prickly, modern-day Roman general (Ralph Fiennes) who is counseled by a trusted advisor (Brian Cox), by his domineering military mother (Vanessa Redgrave), and by his beautiful wife (Jessica Chastain) while seeking public office and defecting to the camp of his nemesis (Gerard Butler) to garner support from the angry, starving Roman citizens (Luna Azabal, Ashraf Barhom, et al.); primarily for diehard Shakespeare fans.
