Darkest Hour, The A silly, loophole-filled, lackluster, 3D, sci-fi thriller in which two entrepreneurial American system programmers (Emile Hirsch and Max Minghella) get trapped in Moscow with two screaming American friends (Olivia Thirlby and Rachel Taylor), an underhanded Russian (Joel Kinnaman), and an eclectic group of other survivors (Veronika Ozerova, Dato Bakhtadze, et al.) when electricity-hungry aliens attack Earth, zap energy, and kill people by the millions.
