Made in Dagenham

An inspirational, factually inspired, uplifting, star-studded (Miranda Richardson, Bob Hoskins, Rosamund Pike, and Rupert Graves) 2010 film, which is reminiscent of the 1979 film "Norma Rae," about a feisty, courageous British machinist (Sally Hawkins) who leads her fellow 186 female workers (Geraldine James, Andrea Riseborough, et al.) on strike in 1968 at the Ford plant in Dagenham, England, to earn wages comparable to those of their 55,000 male coworkers and to gain improved working conditions.
