Music Never Stopped, The

A touching, heartbreaking, uplifting, well-acted, factually based film, which is based on the essay The Last Hippie, in which a New York couple (J. K. Simmons and Cara Seymour) in 1986 use music with the help of a music therapist (Julia Ormond) to try to reconnect with their memory-impaired son (Lou Taylor Pucci), who has been estranged for more than 20 years, after he suffered a traumatic brain injury due to a benign tumor.
