Afterling, The

Ann Prim's 6-minute, black-and-white, partially animated, 2009 film with minimal narrative that tries to create a visual painting by showing a series of seemingly disconnected images, including seahorses, a lantern, a clock, a bulls-eye target, a thorn, torn paper, a deer, a paintbrush, a cart-wheeling girl, a bird, a porcelain doll, a train, a ticking watch, melting ice, a scratching woman, a lock in a drawer, a rotating hat, and moving pegs on a cribbage board.
