Steel Toes

Hatred, religious intolerance, and forgiveness are explored in this powerful, riveting, intense, 2006 film, based on David Gow's play Cherry Docs in which a liberal, no-nonsense Jewish attorney (David Strathairn) jeopardizes his longtime marriage to his wife (Marina Orsini) in Canada when he becomes deeply involved in the defense of an engaged, tattooed, white supremacist punk (Andrew W. Walker) who kicked an East Indian man to death while wearing steel-toed, black leather combat boots.
