Burrowers, The When a family in the Dakota Territories is found mysteriously mutilated and murdered in 1879 in this eerie, violent, creative, 2008 horror film punctuated with gorgeous photography, a motley posse (Sean Patrick Thomas, Doug Hutchinson, Clancy Brown, William Mapother, Karl Geary, David Busse, et al.) searches for who or what killed the pioneers in the wild west and find daylight-sensitive, earth-burrowing creatures that feed on humans after their buffalo food source dwindled.
