Damned United, The Competitive spirit and soccer fever run rampant in this high-energy, entertaining, factually based film that follows the career of ambitious, hard-headed, English soccer manager Brian Howard Clough (Michael Sheen) and his longtime assistant Peter Taylor (Timothy Spall) from their days coaching the Derby County team to his 44-day employment with the Leeds United team after succeeding his highly successful, bitter rival Don Revie (Colm Meaney) in 1974.
