Superb acting dominates this heartwarming, moving, smile-inducing film in which a handsome, talkative, socially-challenged, astronomy-loving genius (Hugh Dancy) with Asperger's Syndrome tries to navigate his controlled world with the help of a longtime friend (Frankie Faison) after the death of his widowed father and then unexpectedly finds himself attracted to and in a tenuous relationship with a comely Manhattan schoolteacher (Rose Byrne) despite strong objections from her parents (Peter Gallagher and Amy Irving).
