G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra Nifty special effects and gadgets, wisecracks, and high-tech, nano-infused weaponry are the stars of this fast-paced, action-paced, star-dotted (Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jonathan Pryce, et al.) film in which a multinational military team of elite, highly trained, GIJOE (Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity) soldiers (Channing Tatum, Dennis Quaid, Brendan Fraser, Marlon Wayans, Karolina Kurkova, Ray Park, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, et al.) band together to retrieve four futuristic, highly destructive warheads developed by a duplicitous, revenge-seeking, arms-dealing Scottish entrepreneur (Christopher Eccleston) and to track down the artificially enhanced bad guys (Sienna Miller, Byung-hun Lee, Ronald Vosloo, Kevin K. O'Connor, et al.) trying to control the world; geared for adrenaline-charged, teenage males.
