Funny People When a popular, lonely comedic film star (Adam Sandler) is diagnosed with life-threatening leukemia in this crass, uneven, sporadically funny, disappointing, cameo-studded (Jason Schwartzman, Jonah Hill, Justin Long, Ray Romano, James Taylor, Eminen, Andy Dick, Sarah Silverman, and Nicole Air Parker) Judd Apatow comedy filled with vulgar language and too many penis jokes, he hires a standup comedian (Seth Rogen) working at a deli counter to be his assistant and to write jokes and then tries to reconnect with the love (Leslie Mann) of his life who is married to a cheating Aussie (Eric Bana).
