Salt of This Sea Anger, frustration, and desperation escalate when a strong-willed Palestinian waitress (Suheir Hammad) from Brooklyn emigrates to Israel after the death of her Jewish father to retrieve monies from a long-closed bank account of her grandfather's and to explore her family's heritage and roots in this poignant, emotionally charged, captivating, political film and she is befriended by a student (Saleh Bakri) and a filmmaker (Riyad Ideis) who accompany her on a painful, tumultuous, and dangerous personal journey.
