Express, The An inspirational, family-friendly, factually based film that follows Ernest R. Davis (Rob Brown), who was the first African-American athlete to win the Heisman Trophy in 1960, as he grows up with his grandfather (Charles S. Dutton) during the 1950s in a small coalmining town in Pennsylvania, moves with his newly married mother to the Southern Tier of New York state, and then is recruited by no-nonsense, well-respected head coach Ben Schwartzwalder (Dennis Quaid) to play college football for the Syracuse Orangemen.
