Flash of Genius

Snail pacing hinders this thought-provoking, ire-inducing, star-studded (Alan Alda, Dermot Mulroney, Bill Smitrovich, and Mitch Pileggi), factually based film about pigheaded, single-minded, doggedly determined engineering professor and inventor Robert W. Kearns (Greg Kinnear) in Detroit who takes on the Ford Motor Company when they blatantly steal his patented invention for intermittent windshield wipers during the 1950s even though it fractures his relationship with his loyal, but ultimately fed up wife (Lauren Graham) and six children.
