Battle in Seattle

Fictional, one-dimensional, paper-thin characters dominate Stuart Townsend's factually inspired film about nonviolent, protestors (Martin Henderson, André Benjamin, Michelle Rodriguez, Jennifer Carpenter, et al.), a renegade television reporter (Connie Nielsen) and a photographer (Christopher Jacot), and innocent bystanders (Charlize Theron, et al.) who butt heads with Seattle's mayor (Ray Liotta), the governor (Tzi Ma), and riot police (Wood Harrelson, Channing Tatum, Gary Hudson, et al.) during five chaotic days in November and December 1999 at the World Trade Organization Ministerial Meeting.
