Proud American A sugary-sweet, patriotic, inspirational, factually inspired pseudo documentary that touts the riches of "the land of milk and honey," including religious freedom and educational and diverse job opportunities, by showcasing a Vietnam immigrant (Jane Le) who graduates and builds a successful software business with her husband (Chris Emerson), a determined African-American student who overcomes numerous obstacles to attain his dream of becoming a doctor, and a Brazilian surfboarder (Michael G. Davis) who comes to America to fulfill his dream of becoming a Navy SEALE and ends up being a world-class athlete following a traffic accident.
