Paula's Secret A family-friendly, enjoyable German film, which blends humor with the serious topic of human trafficking, about a well-to-do 11-year-old German student (Thelma Heintzelmann) who deceives her neglectful parents (Claudia Michelsen and Christian Leonard) and loyal housekeeper (Miriam Fiordeponti) to team up with an infatuated, chocolate-loving schoolmate (Paul Vincent de Wall) and his sister (Constanze Spranger) in order to retrieve her stolen diary filled with daydreams of her prince (Marek Harloff) from two abused Romanian pickpockets (Jülide Girisken and Albert Berisa) who are forced to steal by two ruthless thugs.
