Fakers After a smooth-talking British con artist (Matthew Rhys) desperately needs to come up with a bundle of money that he owes to a ruthless mobster (Art Malik) and then luckily finds what he believes to be an original artwork by a turn-of-the-century Sicilian painter (Bruno Lastra) who died in 1911 in this enjoyable, twist-filled 2004 caper comedy, he reluctantly cuts in a comely bartender (Kate Ashfield) in his scam when he coerces her talented, gullible artist brother (Tom Chambers) to sketch five forgeries that he plans to offload for quick cash to five different art galleries before the owners find out that they bought a counterfeit.
