Body of War

A somber tally of senatorial votes for or against the Iraq War Resolution punctuates this eye-opening, controversial Phil Donahue documentary that focuses on 22-year-old, wheelchair-bound Iraq war veteran Tomas Young who came home a paraplegic due to mortar fire after he enlisted in the army 2 days following 9/11, his gut-wrenching resolve to overcome his disabilities and to rebuild his life despite separating from his wife Brie, and his active role in Iraq Veterans Against the War as he travels around the country with the aid of his mother Cathy protesting the war and giving heartfelt speeches advocating an end to war and bringing our troops home sooner rather than later.
