My Blueberry Nights

Despite being consoled by a hunky, sensitive British owner (Jude Law) of a New York City diner after her cheating, longtime boyfriend (Chan Marshall) breaks up with her in this slow paced, artfully stylized, melancholy romantic film, a young woman (Norah Jones) heads to Memphis to bury her emotions in two waitress jobs where she meets a despondent cop (David Strathairn) consoling himself with booze to cope with the breakup of his wife (Rachel Weisz) and then moves on to Nevada where she meets a gambler (Natalie Portman) estranged from her father.
