Orquestra Tipica

This uneven, fascinating 2006 Argentinean documentary, Tango or Death, follows a contemporary Buenos Aires orchestra, which consists of singer Walter Chino Laborde, one pianist, four accordion players, four violinists, one bass player, and one cellist, as they play traditional tango music blended with punk rock in working-class neighborhoods in Argentina and rehearse and travel to Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Italy for their first European tour.
