Audition

This early, black-and-white, New Wave 1963 Milo Forman documentary consists of part 1, If There Were No Music, in which serious, rival Czech conductors of two brass bands rehearse and perform with their motley group of musicians, including two trombone-playing motorcycle riders, and part 2, Talent Competition, in which singers (Vera Kresadlová, Hana Hegerová, et al.) audition at a theater for a coveted part in a show.
