Irina Palm An unusual, compelling, original, and well-acted film in which a desperate, middle-aged, shy British widow (Marianne Faithfull) peaks the curiosity of her sanctimonious, judgmental son (Kevin Bishop) and her concerned daughter-in-law (Siobhan Hewlett), her neighbors, and close friends when she secretly, sheepishly, and reluctantly accepts the offer of a Soho sex club owner (Miki Manojlovic) to satisfy his horny male clientele anonymously with her soft hands in order to make fast money to send her extremely sick grandson (Corey Burke) to Australia for experimental treatment.
