Robber Hotzenplotz, The After a cheeky, infamous, dimwitted thief (Armin Rohde) steals a coffee grinder from their German grandmother (Christiane Hörbiger) in this vibrant, fanciful, slapstick, 93-minute film filled with pratfall antics, silly magic, a mean-spirited wizard, a beautiful fairy (Barbara Schöneberger), and a crocodile-like mutt, a bike-riding constable and a cigar-smoking fortuneteller (Katharina Thalbach) help her two cap-wearing grandsons (Martin Stührk and Manuel Steitz) retrieve the grinder.
