Love for Sale: Suely in the Sky A gripping, gritty, down-to-earth Karim Ainouz film about a resourceful 21-year-old mother (Hermila Guedes) in northeastern Brazil who reluctantly returns to her hometown with her 2-year-old son when her husband deserts them and then tries to earn money washing cars and selling government-sponsored raffle tickets for whiskey, but eventually decides to raffle off a "one night in paradise" with her affections as the prize despite objections from a besotted moto taxidriver (João Miguel), her incensed and embarrassed grandmother (Zezita Matos), her lesbian aunt (Maria Menezes), and a hooker girlfriend (Georgina Castro).
