Music Within A poignant, inspirational, factually based film about passionate, forward-thinking Vietnam veteran Richard Pimentel (Ron Livingston) who returns to Portland hearing impaired after his stint in the army, who falls in love with a free-spirited student (Melissa George), who befriends an angry disabled vet (Yul Vazquez) and a sharp-witted man (Michael Sheen) afflicted with cerebral palsy, and eventually finds his life's calling as an advocate and voice of Americans with disabilities as he leads the charge to help mentally and physically disabled workers by working fearlessly to train employers and to get the landmark American Disabilities Act passed in 1992.
