Tim Burton's Corpse Bride While practicing his vows in the woods in this imaginative, macabre, and poetic animated film, the clumsy son (voiceover by Johnny Depp) of an English fish merchant (voiceover by Paul Whitehouse) and his rotund wife (voiceover by Tracey Ullman) accidentally marries a corpse (voiceover by Helena Bonham Carter) rather than the daughter (voiceover by Emily Watson) of impoverished, snobbish parents (voiceovers by Albert Finney and Joanna Lumley) who have a money-hungry suitor (voiceover by Richard E.
