For the Bible Tells Me So A thought-provoking, controversial documentary that consists of interviews with a diverse group of Americans, including former House Majority Leader Richard Gephardt, with different ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds who had to reconcile their religious beliefs despite strict biblical teachings and interpretations of the Bible that taught them that homosexuality is a sin when they learn that they have a gay child (such as Chrissy Gephardt, Mary Lou Wallner, and Tonia Poteat).
