Feast of Love

While an Oregon philosophy professor (Morgan Freeman), who has been happily married to his wife (Jane Alexander) for many years, mourns the loss of his son in this charming, entertaining, well-acted, and bittersweet ensemble film in the vein of A Midsummer Night's Dream, he observes the fragile, entangled state of love with various couples, including a coffee shop owner (Greg Kinnear) who eventually finds love with a Hungarian doctor (Sherilyn Lawson) after his wife (Selma Blair) leaves him for a lesbian (Stana Katic), a waiter (Toby Hemingway) who immediately hits it off with a free-spirit (Alexa Davalos) while coping with his abusive father (Fred Ward), and a gorgeous real estate agent (Radha Mitchell) who has eyes for other men while having an affair with a married man (Billy Burke).
