September Dawn

An eye-opening, disturbing, and captivating factually inspired film that is both a touching and tragic love story of two unlikely people (Tamara Hope and Trent Ford) from very different worlds who fall in love and the tragic recounting of a paranoid and revenge-fueled Mormon bishop (Jon Voight) who is instructed by Mormon leader Brigham Young (Terence Stamp) to have his parishioners (Jon Gries, et al.), including his devoted son (Taylor Handley), massacre a group of 140 Missouri and Arkansas settlers (Lolita Davidovich, Shaun Johnston, Huntley Ritter, et al.) that is traveling through Mountain Meadows, Utah, to California on a wagon train in 1857.
