For the Love of Dolly

An entertaining and interesting 55-minute 2006 Tai Uhlmann documentary that focuses on the lives and obsession of five diehard Dolly Parton fans, including a gay couple (Patric Parkey and Harrel Gabehart) who makes ceramic dolls in the likeness of the country singer and have packed their Texas home to the brim with Dolly memorabilia, a single woman (Melisa Rastellini) who moved to Tennessee to be closer to the singer, a mentally challenged factory worker (David Schmidli) who works to earn money to attend the opening of Dollywood every year in April, and a passionate fan (Jeanette Williams) who recreated Dolly's childhood mountain home in her backyard, who rearrange their lives around the life of Dolly Parton.
