Once When a talented, lonely, jilted street musician (Glen Hansard) who works for his father repairing vacuum cleaners in a small Dublin shop becomes attracted to a Czech house cleaner (Markéta Irglová) with a young daughter and a passion for the piano in this charming Irish film filled with wonderful music, he is hopeful of a new romance after his girlfriend left him and of getting a recording contract in London.
