Bug A taut, well-acted, tension-filled psychological thriller based on the Broadway play in which a needy, lonely waitress (Ashley Judd) working at a lesbian bar and living at a seedy, desert motel in Oklahoma fears the return of her just paroled, abusive ex-husband (Harry Connick, Jr.) and ironically gets sucked up whole into the hellish, delusional world of a paranoid, schizophrenic veteran (Michael Shannon) who is AWOL from a hospital psych ward and running from a military doctor (Brian F. O' Byrne) he believes was involved with implanting code-signaling bugs beneath his skin.
