Dog Problem, The When a broke, down-on-his-luck writer (Giovanni Ribisi) in Los Angeles impulsively buys a mischievous terrier puppy on the advice of his 5-day-per-week therapist (Don Cheadle) despite the skepticism of his womanizing best friend (Scott Caan) in this low-key, uneven, dark, dog of a comedy, he surprisingly finds himself attached to the lovable, untrained mutt and to a stripper (Lynn Collins) he meets at the local dog park.
