Memory Thief, The After a chance brief encounter with an irate concentration camp survivor while reading Mein Kampf in this memorable, disturbingly haunting, powerful film, a Christian tollbooth operator (Mark Webber) takes a second job transcribing videotape testimonies of Holocaust victims and as he increasingly identifies with the Nazi-persecuted survivors and internalizes their unimaginable and almost unspeakable suffering and pain, he suffers a complete mental breakdown.
