Cine Manifest

A captivating retrospective documentary in which award-winning cinematographer Judy Irola returns to San Francisco more than 30 years later to visit, to reminisce with, and to interview a group of filmmakers (Stephen Lighthill, Rob Nilsson, John Hanson, Gene Corr, Peter Gessner, and Steve Wax) with whom she collaborated when they formed the Cine Manifest political film collective in 1972 to produce politically relevant films, including Over-Under, Sideways-Down and Northern Lights in 1974, that would have a pertinent message and appeal to mass audiences.
