Hot Fuzz When a tenacious, by-the-book police sergeant (Simon Pegg) is reluctantly transferred from London with the roaring approval of his jealous colleagues to a supposedly idyllic, cozy English village in this highly entertaining, wildly funny, albeit uneven parody, he tries to convince his new clueless, pudgy partner (Nick Frost), the dessert-loving inspector (Jim Broadbent), and other police officers that a series of suspicious accidents are actually murders.
