Wonderful Night in Split, A An award-winning, well-crafted, black-and-white Arsen Anton Ostojic film in which the seedy, dark, labyrinth-filled world of drugs interconnects a Croatian drug runner (Mladen Vulic) who is shot by the asthmatic son (Ante Simun Majstorovic) of his widowed lover (Nives Ivankovier), a drug dealer (Marinko Prga) who arranges for a drug-addicted virgin (Marija Skaricic) to seduce a suicidal American sailor (Coolio), and two teenage lovers (Ivana Roscic and Vicko Bilandzic) who fly on a bad acid trip on New Year's Eve.
