Grindhouse

A campy, violent, star-studded, mismatched double feature, B-flick horror spoof in which Robert Rodriguez presents his delightfully cheesy, blood-drenched, tongue-in-cheek Planet Terror (3) about a one-legged go-go dancer (Rose McGowan) and a sharpshooting tow truck driver (Freddy Rodríguez) who team up with other Texans (Michael Biehn, Naveen Andrews, Marley Shelton, Jeff Fahey, et al.) to stop boil-infested, pus-dripping cannibals (Josh Brolin, Bruce Willis, Quentin Tarantino, et al.) after they are infected with a highly contagious toxic gas intended for biological warfare; in Quentin Tarantino's inane, nonsensical, disappointing (1), a seemingly innocuous, scar-faced, maniacal stunt driver (Kurt Russell) is unjustly exonerated of vehicular homicide after viciously murdering four women (Rose McGowan, Sydney Tamiia Poitier, Jordan Ladd, et al.), and when he tries to run down his next victims, three plucky daredevils (Zoë Bell, Rosario Dawson, and Tracie Thoms) driving recklessly in a supped-up 1970 Dodge Challenge give him a rude awakening.
