God Grew Tired of Us Nicole Kidman narrates this inspirational, gut-wrenching, eye-opening documentary that follows the horrific 5-year exodus of three brave Sudanese teenagers (John Bul Dau, Daniel Abul Pach, and Panther Boir) who were among the 25,000 "lost boys" who journeyed barefoot through the sub-Sahara desert from Sudan to Ethiopia to the U.N. Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya and finally immigrated to Syracuse, NY, and to Pittsburgh, PA, where they overcame insurmountable adversities and assimilated into the American way of life, found jobs, and continued to dream of the family and friends they left behind in Africa.
